I finally got my rig done and am totally digging it. I have one gig with it under my belt and another one tonight. So far so good and so easy to set up  , but not to haul...

Furman PL-8 Plus
DMC GCX
Rocktron HUSH Super C
MXR '70's Script Logo Phase 90
TS9
TC Nova Delay
ENGL Blackmore
Marshall 1960BV (only one in the pic, I use two live)
DMC Ground Control (Original version 2.5)

GCX switches the channels and Master A/B on the amp as well as the loops for the pedals/HUSH. Phase 90 and TS9 are in front of the amp and the HUSH and ND are in the loop. HUSH is before the delay so delay repeats are not gated. I only use the TS9 as a slight boost for solos, rhythm tone is not boosted.

The bottom head slot has a tool box with drawers for cables and additional pedals as well as tools. Was much cheaper than rack drawers and worked just as well!

Hear are some semi-crappy pics:

Thanks, Scott.

The JVM ruled the roost for the last year. I still love it and it ain't goin nowhere. The versatility/switching issues I had with the Blackmore are now gone with the GCX and it is kicking ass.

Is your other guitar player still using a Blackmore?

Yeah, weird story. The guy you saw us with when we played the gig with you is no longer in the band. However the new guy has a Blackmore that I sold him a couple years ago.

Yeah, as you probably know, I'm no longer with the band you saw me sing for. Hope the new guy is working out. Twin Blackmores can't possibly be a bad thing.

Back to the Blackmore...Good. You'll never guess what amp Caesar has...for this month anyway.

Nice Rig Jason. Using the GCX, Is it possible to run 2 amps at the same time and have both amps share the pedals in the GCX loops? I was trying to visualize how to do it, but can't seem to figure it out - it doesn't seem feasible.... maybe you need Y cables or something.

Herbert, eh? I am surprised he never got a Blackmore after he heard mine totally destroy his SE.  :poke:

Thanks, Matt!

Yup, Y cables is the only way to get it done. The buffers in the GCX are supposed to eliminate signal loss. Haven't tried it myself.

nice!!

here's my engl rack... but it's about to get replaced by my axe-fx / marshall el34 50/50 rig very soon

yes, Y cables get the job done just fine. I didn't have signal loss or any issues running it that way.

G Force AND Fireworx? :worship:

^

yer, couldn't deal with the lag time with the fireworx
Sux the gforce doesn't sound as good as the fireworx.. if it did i would just use that

Then there's the axe-fx that sounds better than both :D/
