I've been unemployed for nearly two years now, riding the Obama stimulus train! It's been a nice, refreshing break....been able to work and improve on my guitar playing quite a bit, as well as enjoying other hobbies! I'll probably go back to work next year....maybe. :)

I couldn't do that. It's hard for me to feel like a man if I don't work.

I am a musician and work in the video games industry.

I didn't know playing video games counts as being in the industry?  That would be a dream job!
When did I say I just played games? I am a freelance beta tester and I write reviews (freelance, currently). The last game I beta tested was Call of Duty: Black Ops for Treyarch. I have tested all of their CoD games, starting with Big Red One.

I also used to make a good amount of money in MLG playing Halo 2, and at SFII tournaments.

<--- Online Delta Force Landwarrior guy, stuck in the 90's. game plays better than any others I have tried

I played that game a bit when it came out in 2000. Online was fun. The AI was pretty weak. Cool game though!

I was far too distracted with Halo, Marathon, and Warcraft/Starcraft at the time, haha.

we're still there playing it. subsequent revisions of the game and other variations of the theme seem clunky when moving through the scenes. COD is the same way, too cumbersome for me, the sound of boots running making that "cloop cloop cloop" sound gets tedious.

Black Ops is just for you then! There is a bug in multiplayer right now that stops the sound of footsteps from playing. It's annoying as hell, as you can't hear people around you. Sound is very important in multiplayer games at the higher tier levels of play.
