Just took delivery of the 91 TV yellow champion.
It’s a 91,
has Lollar’s under the hood and plays like a dream and came with original Gibbie 90’s which are no slouch!!
Actually, I prefer the raw-ass Gibson raunch, -but the Lollar’s are better all arounder’s.
Came all the way from Tokyo, I pulled it out of case and I could tell INSTANTLY
it was a special one, ( no pun intended! ) -fit like a broken in faithful baseball glove..??
Absolutely thrilled with the location of the pick-up toggle switch as I use a pick & my fingers at all times.-STOKED!!!
-It does not get in the way of Townsend windmill strums either?.
She tuned right up & stayed in tune while I ran it through gamuts..
Suuuuper stoked as I’ve looked for one of these for years.

Talk about over-packing, while most def’ appreciate this deeply, that’s a bit over-the-top, size & cost wise.

I work hard for my money so when I know exactly what I want and can go out there and get it for myself, it chisels down the G.A.S
remorse & filters out all those leftover G.A.S
bargain thoughts.
Kinda’ like the recent hurricane coming in and blowing all that humidity outta’ the cindering Florida air.

My wife is here and didn’t even see me catch the Fed Ex truck, unbox everything, break down all the shipping/packing materials, discard of most of it and kept the bubble wrap and put everything where it goes and just kept my volume easy on the ears and started ripping shit up on that guitar.
I used to have a Gary Clarke TV yellow signature SG and I’ve had 3 different amps from the company that built that 100 watt head in that enormous box, so I’ve got cred and practiced answers for the meltdown.
Last time I got popped was, my wife walks in the jam room one evening and says
“So.., tell me all about the Wizard amps you’ve been buying and blowing our eardrums out on a daily basis with in there”.
Me- I had to pause & pivot in my mind,

When we are caught red-handed buying shit under the radar).***
