TV pitchman Billy Mays was found dead today in his home in Tampa, Florida early this morning.

According to the Tampa PD, the 50-year-old TV pitchman was found unresponsive by his wife Deborah at 7:45 AM.

What is wierd is, it says he was involved in a situation yesterday where his plane blew out 2 front tires upon landing. Nobody was seriously injured but some people had bumps and bruises. Makes you wonder if this had anything to do with it.
 
Wow, that's crazy. I just saw a commercial for his Pitchmen show a few minutes ago too.
 
He was an inspiration. Made me buy my garden weasel! :thumbsup:
 
My 5 year old son loved him. Anything he was pitching my son wanted to buy. "Hey dad lets get some Mighty Putty"
 
I loved the guy but he never stops. The tv in the bedroom popped on all by itself this morning about 2 am and I looked up and it was Billy shouting "Hi, Billy Mays here with the amazing new Grave Fresh! Will your family miss you in the next 25 years? Do you wanna be embarrased by the smell of your decaying body when your wife digs you up for that one last kiss she's dreamed about? Then you need "Grave Fresh"!

I promptly jerked the tv cord out of the wall and couldn't sleep the rest of the night. I know, I'm going to hell for that! :lol: :LOL:

The only commercial of his I ever really paid attention to was that ESPN one he did. But it was funny and he was ok in my book. RIP :(
 
I heard he accidently ingested the NEW AND IMPROVED TRIPLE STRENGTH OXI-CLEAN!

i know it was a bad joke but yes, RIP. he has my sympathy
