Vixen had some good songs back in the day. saw them back in 89 and it was a really good show, Jan wasn't a great player, but she played for the song. Share the bass player was great.
They still had it in this reunion show few years ago. sad loss.
 
Too bad......liked a few of their tunes. Didnt Richard Marx write or produce their stuff?
 
Cool ass rock chick. She was the band in one of me favorite movies as a kid; Hardbodies. :D

Hot rocker chick and even hotter player... As much a glam guy, never really got into Vixen, but I'm definitely not going to bag on any lady flying the flag for chick led rock back in the day. Props to her and Joan and Lita getting rocker chicks going so we can enjoy bands like Halestorm nowadays
 
Did a bunch of work for her in the early days. To bad really nice girl. Rip

Marx was all over their first album, that's why there's so many good tunes on it.

The sad thing about this was Jan and the rest of Vixen had their differences for years. Only recently that they resolved their issues and they were all looking forward to reform, and she got cancer and died. Sad.
 
Lots of good memories associated with these songs.....RIP, Jan.......
