Honestly - in all respect to Jim Marshall: R.i.P. Jim!
...aber ich find's einfach nich' gut, dass die Marshall Jungs ihren senilen, tatterigen Chef im Rollstuhl wie einen Affen im Zoo ausgestellt haben - in den letzten Jahren auf der Frankfurter Musikmesse - und er unter unwürdigen Umständen Stundenlang Autogramme geben sollte bei gefühlten 119 dB und 'ner Sauerstoff armen Luft in der Halle 4. Daher ist das wohl auch ganz gnädig für ihn, dass er jetzt endlich seine Ruhe findet.

Das möchte man wirklich meinen, aber Jim selbst wollte das so! Er sagte mal, er geht zur Messe, solange er kann.

Sad news about a true pioneer. His amps are responsible for so many great vintage and modern tones. I'd love a 1959 hand wired or JTM45 for that distinctive sound.
