Manowar take the brunt of a lot of jokes, but I’ve always liked the first 3 albums. Still listen to Hail To England regularly.

I remember buying Into Glory Ride and MF’s Melissa on the same day as a kid. Had never heard either……..just picked out the two coolest looking album covers.

I saw MAB after Nitro, live back in the day; they were a real, live band. It was a three piece: guitar, bass and drums. It was at a local regional club my hair bands played regularly in the late '80s - early '90s. The crowd wasn't very big, they put on a decent show, not my favorite music, playing his 4-neck guitar on two different necks at the same time was a novelty.

I was never a fan, but I met Manowar in an international airline lounge on their way back from Rio de Janeiro in the '00s, I think it was the Delta lounge in Miami, FL? We were the only guys in the lounge with long hair, I spoke to them for about 5 minutes in passing.

They were just a vehicle to show off their instrumental skills. That's like calling Rising Force a "band"

Are they technically? uh, yeah, sure, but they aren't an actual band

lol. I saw them in 2002 at a small club in Dallas. I was in front of Logan on the rail. That dude geeked me out just by looking at him up close. Immortal was the opening act but Logan was the scariest person on stage that night.
