RIP man and thanks for your musical contribution!
As time goes on, I've found ways of dealing with people close to me passing. Main way to feel at ease is if I know they lived a good life and left nothing or very little on the table, and that they have a lasting legacy. I didn't know Steve, but it looks like he lived a good, productive life, and 84 isn't a bad run. We can't really expect much more on this old rock.
