I love it when I learn something new from a song I’ve jammed for decades. That part in Electric Eye in the verse where he used the open strings for G instead of fretting the 5th and octave root on the 5th fret. I’ve never played it that way but as soon as he did it I heard how more right it was. It was like when I saw the Joe Walsh vid playing Whole Lotta Love properly and realized I’d be doing it the lazy, typical way all these years and not how it actually goes and as soon as you played it his way it was like, there it is!
