Thank goodness you can use an 8 or 16 ohm load/tap.

That was the #1 reason I sold my THD.

this looks interesting, wonder what the pricing will be on it

Looking at it, my guess would be $400 street.

same region as the hotplate then? seems to have a good set of features. might give it a go if it makes it to the uk

Looks cool, never tried an attenuator that I liked. I've heard the Phantom is superb, but no way Im spending that kind of cash for an attenuator, I rather play loud...

This unit looks promising with nice features, don't like the purple color though...

I like my Alex alot better than the Hotplate, Power Brake, or UA...never tried the Phantom.

That does look neat but man, $400 bought my amp, now you want that to attenuate it? I'll stick with the minimass.

Do any other attenuators have footswitchable bypass like the Webers?

I too am a Rivera fan, so I would be interested although I already have two Marshall SE 100 that I use with my Riveras.

9 minutes of rambling of how good it is, lets hear it Paul.

I don't understand manufacturers in this age who release a product without clips or demos ready to go. The days of a hinting magazine ad causing excitement are long gone, there's just too much competition. It should be considered as important as any info put out about the product. You have to figure someone's willing to visit a site less than a handful of times for a new amp/effect/processor before they lose interest if there's no clips or vids.

I remember many moons ago Ed G did a great rundown of the hotplate comparing recorded clips at different levels of attenuation but at the same auditory level.

This looks great with nice features! Would love to hear some honest reviews on it though.

Looks cool, and it´s probably a great unit. Even though I don´t attenuate much, it might be time to upgrade from my old Powerbrake.
