Rivera Isocab

I think Zorran mentioned using this on his last recording, sounded killer! But then again all his recordings do

I use this Iso cab below at home, I think I paid around $800 for it a few months ago and picked it up from them directly. 2 speakers, and 2 shock mount mic holders, wish it had more than 1 mic per side though. I went for a V30 and G12T-75

UVA is located in LA and the owner does all repairs and stuff for Divine Heresy and other Road Runner bands. The cab wasn't flawless though, it had some issues with some of the glue not drying on the Auralex foam things inside, but it does what it's meant to, and it dampens a shitload of volume. I have my uber right now plugged into it with master at 11:00 and volume at 11:00 and it is literally sitting 1 feet away from me. If I track with headphones I can't even hear it, but with just monitors running it's still really effective.

But.. I've been slammed at work for the past few months and haven't gotten around to learn how to make clips properly,if anything play properly   , but then again I suck so no one will want to hear it   :D But so far it works great and really dampens it alot! It reaches volumes that I can never reach with a amp and a reg. cab

The cabinet is a very important part of one's sound. The best solution is putting your cab into an isobox IMO.

Yeah the Zorran clip posted several weeks ago we were discussing this one.

I would go the Sah5150 direction and build a box large enough to house a 4x12 and mic stands, over half the price.

That what I would do as well.
I just need to find a good detailed plan, material list etc...

^ Love the plant :D
I think the plant is the key to good tone :D

Actually, yes, it does make a difference, it gives more of that chunky low end to the recorded tone. ;)
