I've found a Rivera K412T cabinet for sale locally
I'd like to know if it worth trying it ?
I've read somewhere that it's like a Marshall 1960av but with better wood ??

Anyone already used those?

How would it sound compared to my Mesa Roadking 4x12 cab ?

I want something tighter then the mesa OS to use with a 5150 and my Splawn Nitro

thanks

They are very nice and extremely well built cabs. I can't help you with the comparisons as I've never used the other ones you mentioned.

I had one and at the same time had a 1960AV. I compared them side by side and they both sounded very similar to me. What I mean to say is that they both sounded excellent. I didn't really have a preference based on the few minutes that I A/B'd them. I thought the build quality was excellent too.

It´s been my main cab for years, it sounds killer and I like it better than any Marshall cab I´ve tried. Never played through the Roadking cab, though.

I can see it working very well with the Splawn!

Sums it up. Rivera make great cabs, and they're solid as a tank

Not sure how the drivers will handle you style or the like, but the cab itself? If the price is right, can't go wrong IMHO.
