I haven't touched my Rivera Ktre in a very long time and decided to take it for a spin with a Fortin Grind pedal. Without the Grind this amp has a very lose flubby bottom end but with the Grind (or 33) it just changes it completely for the better. I thought it came out pretty good, enjoy!

Awesome song as usual. Amp sounds really good to. Not what I was expecting to hear from it.

Dude that’s badass! Reminded me of a Tool vid too!

Amp sounds great. Off topic, I’ve jonesed for that guitar for years, how do you like it? Pic?

Thanks man! As for the PRS I love this guitar. I really should play it more but I baby the shit out of it and tend to use my gibby beaters all the time. Just so happens I went to the local guitar shop here today for their 20th anniversary and they had the PRS rep guy James Fox in the store with PRS loot and talking story and what not. I asked him if they had any more metal oriented guitars in the pipeline like the USA Holcomb. He told me to hold on that thing cause they are very sought after. But not so much metal stuff coming out... just John Mayer crap right now. Anyway here are some pics of mine, its a charcoal burst.

That thing is sick.

Could you outline your mix process? You always have the best mixes in the drumjams, I’d like to have that clarity and am always looking to improve.

Awesome as usual dude! That video is so cool too! Nice Holcomb

I had the cheap import, and it was a pretty decent guitar. Fit/finish wasn't the greatest, and I noticed there was quite a bit of fret wear just in the week I had it (I must have a really heavy hand  ). The volume knob location, like most guitars, just didn't work for me, and I wound up returning it. The tone was pretty awesome, REALLY liked the Omega bridge pup! I still think about going back to my local shop and picking it back up, cause it's still sitting there. For the price, I wouldn't feel bad about hacking it up and re-locating the volume knob and eventually having it re-fretted with stainless or Evo wire.

Thanks man! I dig the omega pickups.. it took me a little while at first cause I was use to stock gibson pups for so long. And yeah dude, for the price those SE's aren't bad at all... hack it up and make it your daily beater ;)

Thanks dude!

Now that's some solid n' tight riffage, nice work!

I'm sure it varies depending on the amp, but generally where do you have your Suhr RL set?

Thanks!

You should post up some of your Slax/Suhr RL clips on the TGP modeling forum. Mr. Suhr is on there all the time and I bet he would like to hear 'em if he hasn't already. There's a lotza love for Celestion IRs over there too.
