"Rock" style clip with the Quick Rod / Mooer Black Secret

Testing out some lead tones with the Splawn and Mooer Black Secret. The Black Secret is Mooer's take on the ProCo RAT, it includes the RAT/Turbo Rat in a very small housing and it sounds pretty legit.

Left and Right guitar tracks, Splawn only. Center and Lead tracks have the Mooer with gain at about 9:00.

Used the Mammoth Custom Les Paul and JB hum bucker, Splawn cab with Celestion Creambacks. Some quick 80's style noodling wheedle wheedle leads.

Leads are a bit sloppy and "off the cuff". Been listening to a lot of "The Magnificent, Jaded Heart, Sunstorm, etc." Pretty much new hard rock.

Thanks man. I recently fell in love with RAT pedals. A buddy had been letting me borrow an '86 US made one. Saw some great clips on the Mooer and got it for $64 shipped. It does a legit facsimile.

I have three pedals from them. I swear by the tones and modulations they produce. By the way, SWEET LP. If I remember correctly you had done a thread on that guitar being made in tribute to your brother. Would love to see more pics.
