Sounds great. Was checking Jack's amps out after seeing a few local guys using them. He's in No Babylon, I'm in W Babylon, so at some point I need to check them out

Hey guys,

Jack from http://www.RocknRollAmps.com swung by today and we gave his new 40w prototype a spin. It was killer

The amp will look different when its ready for production. Sounded just as good as the other amps in the stable.

Check out the video and let me know what you think.

Signal chain had a Boss DD7 in the fx loop. No pedals or boosts were used.

Alex

Sound like a great modded 800 ..is that 6l6 like his other amps or el34s

6L6
Can be built with EL34 but at this point 6L6 is sounding killer
Over the next week to two weeks am going to build a head in the cabinet style it will be sold in. The head cabinet style will be the same as that pictured above in the pic of my friend Carl Roa holding on to his CR60. It is compact about 2/3 the size of the big box heads.
It could also be fit in to a Lil Bastard sized box which is even smaller.
Also will come up with prices, mods, options, etc.

sounds fantastic, nice work, is there a reason why 6l6s would be the preference, are they cheaper or easier to work with ?

Hi
40 watt output transformer is spec'd for 6L6. 50 watt can be spec'd for 6L6 or EL34.
Jack

Sounded great. If I were in the market for another amp, this would definitely be a contender.
