Anyone use one these days, I know they're pretty rare and it runs@24khz so I bought it. Now this is where everyone tells me it's crap lol

No in fact it's a great multi-effect. I've got an Intellipitch and an Intelliverb. They are both great.

Yeah, much as the name implies it basically is an Intellifex with better pitch shifting. And as such it definitely has its strengths!

It's the same intelligent pitch-shifting algorithm as in the G-Force by Wave Mechanics... It really does work. I used to play Andy LaRoque harmonized solos with it.

The seller told me he uploaded the AK85 Intellifex Presets. Anyone familiar with those or whether I'll have any issue reloading the default factory settings?

There's always a factory restore procedure to get all the presets back to default. Turn the function select knob over to "Factory Restore," turn the parameter select knob until it says "Enter Code." Then turn the parameter adjust knob until it displays 249. Hit store and you're done.
