I bought a original blackface intellifex on ebay for $100
and i downloaded the manual BUT it is not matching up with the original
intellifex, the preset list is different?
My first preset is called WELCOME and in the manual it is a preset called
CRS PAN VERB?
and the remaining preset's do not match up to mine either.
I did a factory restore and they are still the same as they were?

I don´t think Rocktron has the original manual available online, just the manuals for all the later versions which of course could have different presets even though the units are all much the same. My blackface boots up to CRS PAN VERB, however.

I loved my old Intellifex, the analog effects were much more realistic and warm than even the new TC stuff that I have today. The only thing that I didn't care for with the Intellifex was that the delay's were tied to the Chorus, which made for great chorusing, but I really just wanted the delay side. I ended up selling mine and going with a Replifex which was amazing for the price.

Well, there´s no analog FX in the Intellifex but it has analog dry-thru. It sure does sound better than anything TC has done since the 1210, though!

yeah thats why i bought the replifex to use with the intellifex.
I need delay time longer than the 410ms the intel is limited to when using reverb in the configuration.
having both is like a "Super intellifex"

I still have my original blackface intellifex. Welcome is preset number 1 . Welcome is the preset "name. " Chs pan reverb is the preset "configuration"

yes your are right, later intels changed the presets
From Rocktron,
"Our new Intellifex-LTD offers the exact sonic specs as the original, but at a drastically reduced price. We've even beefed up the chassis construction, reinstituted the original presets (which appeared on the market only briefly) and gave it a new look."
