Anyone else try out the Rotosound Strings from the UK? Been a user of Dunlop's the last couple years, but got a few sets of the Roto Blue 10-52's to try out. They are feeling good, sounding good and they are holding up well.

Hey Steve,

I have been a Dunlop string user for years now too, but recently bought a few packs of 'Legacy' strings. I was told from my supplier that these are simply re-branded/re-packaged Rotosound strings. They cost me like half the price of a pack of Rotosounds too.

I haven't tried them yet, but will be re-stringing my Les Paul later tonight with them.. So i'll let you know what i think

pure nickel strings are the way to go in my opinion..... Never tried these but im sure they are good

I have 10-46 in a Les Paul, they came with the set of Mules from BKP...

They are holding up really well in this guitar as well, they seem to last long. Playability and sound wise I can't really base an opinion since these strings were put in a guitar with the new pickups and I never restrung it since, so I don't have any reference point...

I use them regularly. Love the 10's, but found the 11's a little stiff. IMO, great playability and tone, although maybe a little bright.

i think i read somewhere carl roa uses them, not sure ..but if so there working for him

Nevermind. These strings suck. I now see why they put two 10's in the pack. That's two I broke now in that many weeks. Good feel and sound - no longevity.

Back to Dunlops. They are bullet-proof.
