Running Axe FX 4 Cable Method...Ground Loop Problem

Hey guys!

I'm trying to get my Axe FX running 4CM with my Mesa Mark IV, and can't get it working without a ground loop. It is wired correctly, as explained by Fractal.

I've found that some amps have this problem and others don't...I see them pop up a lot with Mesas...

I tried an Ebtech HumX on the power supply of the Axe FX and Mark IV separately....neither helped...

How can I get this setup running without all the hum?

Love me some Axe, but it does not play well in the 4cm with some amps.

Unfortunately that doesn't do anything for Mark Series Mesa's with the Axe.

Did 4CM with my Bogner 101B and it's totally silent. have you guys tried using the output with the ground lift on the Axe? Would need an XLR to 1/4" adapter, but it might help. I have a Mark series and a cable like that, when things slow down here I can try it out and see if it helps.
