Running pedals in loop and out front at the same time.

I have a modded Marshall 1959SLP 100w RI that totally nails the VH Fair Warning sound. I had a loop installed and was only running my HOF Mini in it and my pedalboard out front. But the pedals sound pretty feeble out front. So I tried the pedalboard through the loop and whoa! What a difference. The MXR Flanger sounds awesome through the loop, but the MXR Phase 90 is overbearing and too dominant. Anyway, I'm thinking of splitting up the pedals on the board to run some through the loop and some out front. Seems like it just be a few extra cables. Anyone do this and have some tips?

I do it. All you need is the cables. I installed jacks on my board and use a Pedalsnake to make it cleaner. I run delay reverb and modulation in the loop and overdrives and wah through the front.

Yep, this is very common. Just bundle the extra pair of cables together with the existing one going to your amp with Velcro ties or similar. Label them send and return so you know where they go. Done.

I did the same thing with my Pedaltrain. They went in the front though.

Thanks. Temple Audio.

cool. I just looked at their website. Are u usig their pedal plates?
No. A lot of guys said they are a PITA and also expensive. I'm just using dual lock which works fine for me.
