Hi,
I have just bought two of the above mentioned poweramps, the fryette 2502 and mesa 2:90.
Since I would only use 1 channel of the amp, would it be possible that I remove the fuses and tubes for channel B and just run channel A instead ? instead of putting them on standby

I would either read the manuals or call Fryette or Boogie. You don't want to guess on something like this. FWIW Boogie says the 2:90 can be run just one side as long as the other volume is all the way down and the presence is all the way up (to prevent oscillations they say). I would still get it from the horses mouth though. I would think you wouldn't want to take out the fuses because if a fuse goes it tells you something is wrong and if you don't have the fuse and mess up you could be saying goodbye to a PCB and/or an OT.

is it possible to run 2 EL34s and 2 6L6s on Chan A of the Mesa 2:90 and all 4 6L6s in Chan B of the poweramp?

no idea, I would call Boogie. Also try the mesa forum grailtone.

I know you can run two EL-34's and 26L6's per channel, but im not sure if you can use one a different way than the other, not sure why it would matter, but maybe run it by someone at boogie just to be sure. But, as far as only using one side, you can do it with no problems, did it for years, but the things to remember have already been said, keep the volume at zero and turn the presence all the way up and make sure you have no signal going to the input of the poweramp. Just be sure you switch from one side to the next from time to time so the tubes wear evenly...
