Is the xlr cable supposed to cut the sound to the speaker cabinet? Plugged the cable into my interface but the amp was still coming through my cab and i was getting nothing into my DAW
Xlr does not cut the sound to you cab.. you need a load on the amp if you want to use it silently. If you turn your master down all the way you will get no sound out of the xlr...it's off the power section.
