Just got one the other day and so far I'm really impressed. I even used it live last night (direct to PA, no amp) and it actually sounded great.

No clips of my own yet, but here is one on youtube that someone else did, direct to the sound card. The sound at 2:00 is what I have been using most. I would really like to try some of the other Character Series pedals now...

Everything that guy does sounds like shit to my ears... why? Because he always seems to be going direct. Fuzzy, splatty mess. He might want to get a mic and a 1 x 12 and do his demos properly. They send him so many pedals to demo and for the life of me i can't understand why.

To each his own. That pedal is designed to go direct. I played it live the same way and it sounded great. I normally use a mic'd up Marshall Class 5 combo, but I actually prefer the oxford.

I had the sansamp blonde for a while, pretty cool pedal, just using it as a clean platform with pedals in front , had to dial OD/dirt differently but worked ok , sansamp work really well with bass imo, have a paradriver i'm using with bass, sounds great direct

the higher gain tones that i've heard end up coming across fairly fuzzy ,

here's a joyo clone that sounds pretty decent

Yeah I admit I don't use a ton of gain on the oxford. I keep it pretty medium and then use a blues driver and/or a RAT with it. I also use an MXR eq pedal which helps a lot with the fizziness. I'll try to get some clips up soon.

I'd be very interested in hearing some clips if you get around to it.
