Oh man, this thing sounds amazing! I've got 1/2 a dozen pedals or so and most sound pretty good in front of a crunch channel. They sound totally crappy in front of a clean channel. The Bogner red, on other hand, sounds fantastic in front of the clean on my Lonestar. I haven't had time to play with it with my other amps.

Also, the Bogner red sounds incredible in front of the Kemper using a clean profile...exactly what I was looking for.

I can't say enough about this thing...Bogner is a genius!

I want one of these very bad. I have heard nothing but greatness... Congrats and enjoy...

Oh he'll....

I had been telling myself I have enough stomps. Just one to put in front of my Reco Verb clean channel...

Congrats on the cool new pedal!

I got one too... Sounds killer into the front of my 5150 Combo set clean.

It's impressive how close it gets to the real amp. My live rig is an Ecstasy Classic. So far I like the Variac switch on, Full mode, Pre EQ B1, and the Structure 100. Gain at 12:00 is nice and crunchy. Dime the boost and it sings!!!

I also have a Wampler Pinnacle running into the same amp. The Bogner Red sounds a little more Hi Fi. The Wampler has an upper mid voice and less string separation.

I dont think the 5150 is the right amp for these pedals though. I really want to try them with a good Fender...

Thanks...

I'll have to try your settings!

Nice Christmas present. I hope to get one soon, if I don't opt for a kingsley jouster.

I just ordered one from Brad this morning! Good to read all these positive reviews and it's promising when you guys with Ecstasy amps say that the pedal gets close. Can't wait for this thing to show up! I'd like to use it for our show on New Year's Eve!

go santa!
i was checking the demo videos of this whole line out the other day, was definitely most impressed with the red, congrats!

are most of you guys running this out into the preamp section of your amplifiers?
thats what the dude on the demos was doing and i was confused by that.
compounded pre amps?
is anyone using it straight into a power amp?

Even with my Bogner 101b red and blue channel I would sometimes hit it with my Koko Boost when I wanted to go over the top. So, I thought I'd try this out:

LP -> Koko Boost -> Bogner Red pedal -> Lonestar clean (great clean) -> Bogner 4x12 loaded with v30's. Oh man, does this setup sound awesome AND with tons of other tonal possibilites...my ears are ringing.

I love this thing.
