Sanyo Pedal Juice

There was a guy giving one away recently. I didn't win, looks like a cool product though. I would still want to have some sort of power supply as a backup though.

Also, compared to a One-spot or Power-all, it is a little pricey at $150 USD retail.

We're giving one away in our current gear giveaway.

One of my editors has a unit for the in-depth review. It's a great concept. The rechargeable power supply sits on your board and can power it for anywhere from hours to days depending on the load. But in a live gig, no more ground loop issues! You don't have to worry that your pedalboard is plugged into a different circuit from your amp, etc... I am looking forward to knowing just how good/bad it is very soon...

In the meantime, the link in my signature will let you sign up to win one of these, or other cool gear.

This is a completely different animal than a One Spot. That isn't anything more than a 9V extension cord and will make any board sound like a swarm of bee's. You get no ground loops with on 9V battery power and everything is isolated. I like the concept.

I like the concept too.
Seems as though it would be simple, efficient and effective.

I'd like to have one of these for outdoor gigs and as a backup on a pedalboard. It would be reall cool if you could bridge it to a power supply, so if your power supply fails, it defaults to it automatically.
