Saw Anthrax, Testament with Death Angel last night.

Shred, our friend Mike, my kid, my kid's friend, and myself went to see these guys last night. All I have to say is Anthrax is one tight band. Holy crap they sounded great! Caggiano and Ian were using Fryettes. One looked like a Sig-X, the other looked like a Pitbull. They sounded beefy as hell!

Yea I was there as well awsome show from all three bands, Not sure if Scott was using the Fryette's as i couldnt see his amp rack(was on his side) Rob it just looked like he was using the SigX and the Pitbull was there for backup. Sounded awsome though no matter what

As fas as I know Ian uses his Sig Randall MTS heads. he's been a Randall guy for years so it would make sense along with the JCM 800's he used on the earlier stuff. Rob uses both VHT's and did on the last album too I heard.

i had a ticket to see that show in Philly Thursday but had to bail , work comes first nowadays. i hate being a grown up. How was Testament?

testament rocked as well...of course the sound wasn't completely worked out..but it got better as the show went on

Yea the new Anthrax album is for sure All VHT/Fryette. It has that signature sound that you can't miss if you've heard VHT/Fryette! Sounds awesome!

I was on the Rob Caggiano side of the stage. The guitars sounded huge.
Scott Ian's Silverburst Jackson was killer-looking.

There is an interview in the new guitar player on Anthrax and Rob says he made Scott whip out his old JCM800's for the new record. So I'd say the new album is a combo of VHT/Fryette/Marshall. Sounds great to my ears!
