Wow! What a fuckin' show!!!
RATT was great, Carlos is every bit the badass that Warren is, I really hope they can keep this lineup going for a while! It also gave me serious crossed-swords Charvel GAS!
The Scorpions were un-fucking-believable! Fantastic tones, phenomenal performance and all those great songs, they fucking ripped Tampa a new ass last night! The sold-out crowd of a little over 9,000 was going fucking apeshit the entire show, too, it was one of the highest-energy shows I've seen in years, EVERYBODY was singing along at the top of their lungs, and you couldn't have blasted the constant smiles off of the guys in the band with a hand grenade.
Matthias is SUCH an underrated player, IMO, his fucking fills are more epic than most guys' solos! Melodic, tasty shred at its absolute finest! I really dug the setlist, too. I wasn't expecting to hear Coast To Coast, Dynamite & Loving You Sunday Morning, all long-time favorites of mine, so they were a really cool surprise.
Anyway, here's a few crappy camera phone pics...
Who knows if this is really their "final" tour, but if you have the chance to catch them live, especially with RATT, do not miss it!
