What a fucking show. 1st off I have to say I've never been a Dave fan but last night I became a huge fan. Great showman, the video's playing behind the screen actually have typical Dave showing off and doing his stupid things, I think they were up there to even laugh at Dave a little that's something I wouldnt think he would have allowed in the past but they were up there and I think even he knows he's a goofball. He played Ice Cream and showed video's of his cattle dogs and talked about them. He did a great job playing Ice Cream Man too!! They all smiled the whole show, he and Ed have serveral moments where they looking eye to eye playing off each other both smiling. If they dont like each other still they are incredible actors because the smile were genuine!! Eddie's right on his game man!!!!!! They should have had a little volume on his guitar but I could hear him. I was truely amazed by the backing vocals with Mike not there but they were AWESOME!!!!!!! Amazing show and thank you Van Halen for such a wonderful memory I have!!!!!! Im up after 2 hours of slepp with my guitar to play just like every other time I saw a Van Halen show.

Saw them in March in Ottawa.. I thought Dave was better in some spots than other but the band was awesome and the tone was incredible. I also really liked Ice Cream man. I thought it stood out and you can tell Dave really likes singing that one..

I thought about going but decided not to at the last minute. I live a 1/2 mile from the Dome(i can be cheap and lazy   ). Saw them when they were in Seattle a few years ago.
Nice to hear the show kicked ass though.

Glad to hear it was a killer show and I really should hit one of their tourstops, I actually like their new stuff. Last time I saw them was headlining the Monsters of Rock stadium tour at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City back in the summer of 1988 after I had first seen them on their fist tour with Sammy the year before I believe, my first concert ever. The Monsters of Rock lineup was Kingdom Come followed up by Dokken, The Scorpions, Metallica , and then Van Halen. I was a Junior in High School and had only been to a few concerts and this was one hell of a good show. Good times but I honestly remember very little of the actual concert. I need to check this tour out.

Prior to the first reunion tour they did a few years ago, the only time I had seen VH in the past was also at the Monsters of Rock tour. Los Angles Colosseum. I still don't know why Kingdom Come was there.
