Why would you make the Savage 60 MKII 'full size' instead of the 24"/60cm width as the old one?

According to that video feature set between the 120 MKII and 60 MKII is identical, save for the power amp (6550's vs. EL34's).


Since he mentions 'prototypes for NAMM', I seriously hope they'll scale down the 60, probably feature wise as well, so that folks that don't need all the bells 'n whistles or the power still have a lighter weight option.

This actually is NOT what I was expecting them to do! I personally don't mind it, but I could see others wanting the 60 to be smaller and more stripped down.

I love how Marcos and Jen completely derail the video towards the end.
