DESCRIPTION:
This is the extremely rare, first iteration of Chris Howorth’s signature V-7 model released by Schecter back in 2012/2013 during In This Moment’s Blood album cycle. It has a red paint color and a “blood crown” inlay to match the album’s aesthetic.
There is nothing more “metal” than a lean, mean, single-humbucker-equipped chug machine like this V-7.
Specs:
• Body wood: mahogany
• Body finish: gloss
• Scale length: 673mm (26.5”)
• Neck construction: set-neck (with Schecter’s Ultra Access)
• Neck wood: 3-piece mahogany
• Neck finish: gloss
• Neck profile: thin C
• Fretboard wood: rosewood
• Fretboard radius: 406mm (16”)
• Fretboard inlays: “blood crown” at 12th fret
• Fret number: 24
• Fretwire size: extra jumbo
• Pickup: EMG 707
• Controls: volume knob
• Bridge: TonePros Tune-O-Matic
• Tuners: Schecter locking
• Nut: Graph Tech Black TUSQ XL
• Nut width: 1.889” (48mm)
A hardcase is included in the sale.
CONDITION:
There are some standard, tiny signs of playwear with many of the marks being too small to capture in a photograph. The tip of the lower wing has some slight scraping in the clear coat evidenced by the white marks. There is a single, similar mark on the tip of the headstock. Lastly, there also is some paint missing from inside the route for the output jack (probably due to a previous owner blindly attempting to plug an instrument cable in without looking at what he was doing).
PRICE:
$900 OBO + shipping
LOCATION:
East Coast, USA.
I can work with interested buyers on all shipping concerns domestically or internationally.
