My birthday was yesterday, and I saw this in craigslist, so I thought "What the hell?" Went to look at it and it was cherry. The action is very fluid. This is my first musicman I have played besides the axis super sport(which I didn't care for).

Anyway...the luke rocks...here are some tones I am getting....

Good friend has one, its fantastic. Plays great, solid, sounds amazing. Made me go and buy a Petrucci, wich I loved dearly, but I dont have anymore [ long story]. Anyway, congrats, and CRANK IT! Luke is smiling !

Thanks guys! I appreciate it....Hey Chris, or anyone who has owned one? I have a question regarding the nut? It looks like a heavier gauge string won't really go/slide in it? Is that an issue, cuz I was thinking of having it be a standard D tuning? I might have to keep it standard E if that is an issue? Any thoughts would help...
