I had a fun informative day doing this, hope you guys dig it. Clips and comparisons with different amps and guitars, from clean to super high gain....

I was JUST searching the net trying to hear different SB speakers! Awesome, thanks Pete - you rock!

that was great nice work ..for metal the j75 65 watt for me!

Dug 1,4 and 5 for different applications. Wasn't really feeling 2 or 3.

Nice demo.

Great thanks,I've been curious about these since a certain speaker company likes to outsource to China.

My personal favs are the M and the H- but the J does have a certain something for metal for sure! And the Scumnico sounds great with my RSA, as it would with any Vox AC30 type amp I'm sure.

A guy like you doing this for Jim... what else can I say, your posting valuable stuff to help him get out there even more!!! Thats classy of you! Thanks for all the hours that you put in, its been very informative and gives me a great idea on my next speaker purchase from Jim now! Thanks Pete!!!

5 was THE icing on the cake for me... you never hear any heavy demos with Jim's speakers!!!

The M75 is nice but the J75 sounds better to me. With the J75 the mids just opened up in a very nice way compared to the M75.
The J75 LHDC had a mid spike almost like a V30 which I didn't dig as much as the J75.
The Scumnico sounded nice...a little compressed sounding which is what alnico does.

Would a 100 watt J75 lose highs compared to the 65 watt version, or sound pretty much the same?

Thanks for doing that....well done.

Between the M and the H, which would be better for brown sound via Brown Eye modded amps?? The Marsha demo you did leaned toward modern dark and heavy.

great stuff as usual Pete!!

that large cone J75 seems pretty damn cool. i like how the large cone rolls off some of the sizzle on top of the regular small cone version.

Dear Santa,

I have been really good this year, and I hope you have noticed.

Please bring me a quad of Scumback speakers. I would like 2 M75, and 2 H75 with 55hz cones.

Thanks Pete, excellent and informative!

I'm leaning towards the M75's.
I like how the top end stays together and not fizzy. Very warm to my ears.

Pete is not a Church   He is contracted to do these demos for the manufacturers via his new demo company venture. Win/Win for both. great job Pete!

Very awesome demo Pete, thanks!

I really like the M75 and H75. The alnico speaker was awesome too and really jangly. I wasn't too crazy about the regular J75 with any of the amp you played, however I did like the large dust cap version on all of them. Very informative! Thanks.

I like the M's a Scumnico for the clean and "rootsy" tones and the H for everything else. The J was nice but I am happy that I have a H75 100w in my Egnater 1X12.

As always, you rock Pete. Very well done.

Kinda sounds to me like the M75 has the most mids out of all of them while still being smooth.
