Been experimenting with different Scumbacks with my Soldano 2x12 Cab. Just wanted to see what Rig Talk is using.

M75's? M75 LD? BM75?

I'm not using a 2X12, but I am using a Marshall 1960 straight cab loaded with four Scumback BM75 65 watt 16 Ohm speakers with my SLO and all of my other amps. I love the BM75s and the M75-PVCs!

I just mounted up a BM75 and I have an M75 on the way. The BM75 is awesome for the brown sound.

My personal favorite with the SLO/2x12 setup is the H75 LDC. It ends up sounding like a cross between an old GB and a CL80.

I have two cabs loaded with Scumbacks for my SLO

Soldano closed 2x12
H75 LDC_H55

Soldano open 2x12
M75 x 2

I prefer the first one because it has more high end and lows; broader tonal spectrum. LOVE IT. More versatile and better for searing leads and hair band -Lynch era metal.
M75 loaded cab is smoother and tames the high end, as you'd expect. A bit more classic rock sounding. But if your guitar is very bright it could be the ticket.
