I had an Ibanez RG752 AHM that was a really nice 7 but I just never played it anymore, so yesterday someone local came buy and bought it and just by coincidence someone else local to me had a guitar that I was interested in checking out, so I met up with him and bought it, basically worked out on my end like a 3 way trade LOL!
anyway after 2 hours of cleaning her up this morning, polishing the frets and greasing up and cleaning the floyd , and setting her up with my string gauge tuning, I have yet another MIJ Charvel ready to go to work.
EMG 57/SV in there now, don't know if they will stay as I have JB/1/4 pounder ready to drop in if they start to annoy me..

That’s a great looking guitar.

I kinda wish they made the dots grey like the body color or just all black. It just adds to that military look.

Love the same color headstock look. All you need is to take that yellow tint finish off the back of the neck and you have a perfect Charvel.
Congrats! Those wildcards are sweet.

Awesome guitars. As the Series progressed I tried most and these became my favorite. Maybe has to do with the solid mount JB or the ebony board. Anyways I ended buying, and still have, 3 of them. Congrats to the OP they’re terrific guitars. All 3 of mine are pretty light weight too. I wish the dots were white.

Ya the yellow is the only think I don't really care for with this thing, I've been jamming out on it today for a bit and the EMGs are actually "OK"
A little compressed and a bit thinner sounding than my Socal with the JB but I'll try them for a while.
The necks on these 2009-2011 MIJ Charvels are very consistent, I've had 5 of them now at one point or another and each one always feels like home as soon as I pick it up. :)

Yep the edges are a bit more rolled than the USA’s and they’re just about perfect IMO.
