Well, I'll have my first amp going to Dave this week (1959 SLP Reissue). Going to talk to him about a potential "triple mod" (BE/HBE/C45). I've seen the mods go into separate inputs, and I think I've seen one before that was on a rotary switch on the back. Does anyone know if it's possible to have one input on the front dedicated to the mods (with voicing controlled by the rotary switch on the back), then still be able to plug into the front for a stock sound, using the 2 remaining inputs not dedicated to the mod to jumper channels?

Anyway, for current owners...what's your favorite mode?

Well I could do this with 3 inputs. 1 being the HBE the other being the BE the gain pot can have a push pull for voicing to the c45. The c45 voicing can be use on the high gain input or the low gain input. I could then on input 1 make it a stock channel with a push pull master defeat on the master pot. So if you plug into the 1 channel and defeat the master it is a stock super lead amp.

That sounds awesome, but I could also see me confusing the hell out of myself...  If it's less work and time consuming, I'd be just as happy having them on the separate inputs. The stock sound isn't too important to me.

Signed for today in North Hollywood. Now, the wait begins...

I've heard pretty much all of Dave's mods... killer tone! I'm waiting on a the new Friedman "Marsha" with the BE and HBE... gonna be awesome!

Yeah, I've heard nothing but good things about them.

BTW - Does anyone know what the current wait times are? I sent in an amp that was signed for over 3 weeks ago now, inquired and haven't heard back. Not that I'm in a rush, I'm sure everyone is busy. Just curious what a typical turn around time is.

Dave signed for my amp on April 14th, I haven't heard anything. So It could probably be a while.

Thansk for the head's up! Like I said, not in a huge rush, just trying to figure out an estimate.

Larry yours is a special one. Never did that mod before and you can't judge by that. The time it take really depends on my work load with systems builds. I am very very swamped with this. I normally try and get the amps out with in 2 to 4 weeks. I should be starting on some amps this week so lets see. Dave

Ah, no worries. Like I said, I'm in not rush, just trying to get estimates. Thanks!
