Has anyone tried the Seymour Duncan Blackout AHB-3's? Any good? I'm thinking of putting them into a new charvel of mine. I don't really downtune besides the ocasional drop d or half a step down. How is it for standard tuning?

Great pickups. I replaced the AHB1 bridge on my Suhr with the AHB3...love it, it's staying for sure.

I just put the AHB-1's in my Suhr, because of your earlier vids before the -3. I didn't want to jump right in to the 3's, not being happy with EMG's before, but I really like the Blackouts. What is(are) the biggest difference(s) between the AHB-1 and the AHB-3 in the bridge?

They have this really nice searing quality to the top end without being harsh.
