Fat, punchy and articulate. They remind me of a PAF w/ an elusive characteristic hard to describe.

Here is a clip (SEVERAL years ago, poor playing) but just having a blast w/ my Charvel body/GMW neck VH2 replica guitar (w/ the Duncan '78) playing w/ a Mojave Peacemaker

That sounded great! Thanks for your info, I am probably going to buy one soon.

They will also wind you a matching, calibrated neck pickup too, FYI.

Sounded great Zach! Is that "sizzle" a characteristic of the pup, or the amp?

The pickup has a certain sort of punch to it, but stays articulate, but mushes just right-- but doesn't mudd out. It'll sing pretty or SCREAM, and cut through. The sizzle is likely a result of the amp and the guitar/pickup working together to create the total tone. The amp is definitely known for having a worthy sizzle factor, but in my experience, is more there or not because of the pickups and the guitar.
