Anyone using one of these things? I've been interested in it for a long time, never got the chance to try one out.

It works great for a clean boost. Pretty transparent. Don't use it in the loop as a solo boost though, the lowest setting is 6db which is 3db more than what you would want for that.

Doesnt take up much room on the board either.

I use one pretty regularly but the led went out so i dont know if it's on till i go to my clean channel...

ive used it as a boost for my dsl, with great results. seemed to be quite transparent, and added a nice amount of saturation to my sound.

Mine works great in front of the amp. I've used it in the loop before, but I like it to push my amp out front (JCM800). I had a SHO built into my looper pedal for solo's. Interesting thing was the SD sounded better than the SHO in front of the amp.

The price is right too. Very good value. As far as the clean channel, I would think that it would just make it louder. Haven't tried it that way because I don't have a clean channel.
