Shallow switch for thin, carved top guitar? Ibanez S?

I'm working an ESP Horizon style carved top body, but it has a cavity depth of 3/4". The only switch I can find to select pickups that fits is a mini, but they feel a little flimsy for pickup switching with the tiny handle. I actually prefer a 3-way blade switch, but for where I want to mount it, it definitely won't fit. This got me thinking about the Ibanez S series guitars. What sort of blade switch do they use? I imagine the cavity is fairly shallow. Any ideas are appreciated. Below is a rough example of the control layout I'm doing (not my guitar pictured).

well, the mini toggle 3 way switches (the japanese ones) at allparts are super quality. i use those for pickup switches a lot actually. just find the on/on/on one and try to locate a wiring diagram.
