I recently picked up a Mod 50 with the T/D and SL modules. I'm curious how everyone is setting up their T/D module? Here are my settings for the Deluxe side. Density and presence are both set at 10:00.

For country gigs I use these settings. Channel B/ Gain 9:00, Bass 9:30, Mids 9:30, Treble 9:00, Bass Boost off, Bright Boost 1, Module master set to taste, Amp master on full.

Bluesy breakup. Channel B/ Gain 3:00, Bass 10:00 - 11:00, Mids 10:00, Treble 1:00, Bass Boost off, Bright Boost off, Modules master set to taste, Amp master on full.

I'm using a Tele and a Rivera 2x12Q open back cab with a Greenback/Scumback H75 combo.

all you posted was b channel which i'm assuming is the deluxe channel
which to me is a smoking tone
I'm having a problem dialing in a FULL tone on the T twin setting(a channel)
I'm running the M4 into a fryette 2/50/2
and I've adjusted every possible parameter but the high notes e and b strings
sound extremely thin(am std stat) Considering that the bulk of my blues tone is clean
I'm pretty disappointed with egnater stuff
I just don't know maybe if the pwr amp was 6l6's ...................
If I highjacked I apologize
the Deluxe channel is very responsive and sounds good with a variety of settings
I just can't make it sound bad
I have a hand wired hoffman ab763 deluxe and this module is very close
but I have not studied the schematic but will do so soon!
But the Twin come on not even Close well to be fair the only difference between the
blackface amps were the transformers so
It's just that I 'd have such glorious cleans even on my fender deluxe
that are not even close on my egnater stuff
I'm disappointed what can I say

I like channel B better than channel A. I have found a nice setting for the Twin side with the Mod 50.

Twin - Volume 1:00, Bright Boost off, Bass Boost off, Bass 9:00-10:00, Mids 9:15, Treble 9:00-10:00, Module Volume set for overall volume, Density and presences at 12:00. I run the amp's master volume on full. This is a really nice clean tone but I still prefer the Deluxe side. It has a little more give and sag.

This is basically where I start from for single coils. May hit with mild compression (Keely darkens it a touch) prior as in some of the clean clips I posted in the Collective. On the power section, I like to keep the presence as high and the density as low as possible also cranked until it gets spongy and record with mics as close to the speaker as I can without too much unwanted proximity effect. If you can't really run the power tubes hot, you won't get the fullest sweetness the module has to offer IMO. Again, this is just how I hear it with my geetars and fingersez

Thanks for the post John. Those settings sound extremely bright with my rig. It sure sounds great with yours. It looks like your also have the Bright and Bass Boost on 2. Is this correct?

*EDIT* These settings sound great with the tone rolled down some on my G&L ASAT Special.

Actually, I don't know why I have the bright on 2 as it is usually set to 1. I have grown more used to playing/recording brighter because I get tired of adding more top end back later.

I find the same thing when recording. Your settings sound great with some tone rolled off on my guitar. Are you still using your SL module?
