Ho Lee Fuk shipping is expensive these days. Shipped an eleven pound Mark V:25….$80! Insane. That’s all.

Premium rates and no guarantees these days, especially NDA (May or may not make it NDA)

3 days ground from CA to MD, my 84 LPC was $560.

3 days ground from AZ to MD for my Metroplex was $360. It weighed more but the box was smaller than my LPC.

This day in age they seem to charge drastically more for size than they do weight. The items are valued about the same.

Dude you could have flown out there, ate a ribeye and had a cold beer, then flew back ensconced in velvet in first class for that price

Wanna see something beyond stupid? Do a quote for a Marshall head, with a road case, insured for $1600.00, shipped to Sweeden. Last time I quoted that, the lowest price was by Fedex, from Nashville to Sweeden, it was over $800.00.
Same amp, but now declared and insured for $4200.00 sent from Sweeden to Nashville, by Fedex... $250.00
Funny how it defeats logic.

We split the cost of shipping, I paid 275 for the first and 175 for the second. But yeah, shits expensive these days.

Ho Lee Fuk sounds like it could be a dude from China selling Chibsons on the down low. ? ? ?

I drove to CA from MT recently to pick up an amp/cab. Was way cheaper and I had the time and a friend to visit so it worked out. Would have been like $750-$850 in shipping, instead gas cost me $350 and I got to drink good Mezcal with some old friends.

Just the good Mezcal with friends already worth the drive!

I love good Mezcal

I’m looking at shipping a very specific type of acoustic material from England that is only made there, called REVAC… each roll weighs about 30lbs…. I wanted a quote for 5 rolls, each roll is about 4 tall, and about 15 feet of material max…. The product itself is about 85 dollars a roll… 85 bucks….Shipping?

I’m looking at over 3 THOUSAND by SEA, closer to 4 THOUSAND, by air…. I am about ready to lose my shit.

I think we're all being charged for all the 'Free Shipping' that all these companies can somehow magically afford. It seems like if you're a big company and they want all that shipping business they'll cut them a break...and then pass that cost on to everyone else. Fuckers.

Fully insured and "upcharges for weight" will end up killing the used market.

I just left UPS Hub $200 poorer.
Do NOT EVER use the guitar shipping boxes Sweetwarer ships with. Those fall into the "too long" category.
I have cut them down to get them under the specific size in the past to save a few bucks.

I don't get it. I shipped a 50lb Marshall head insured for $2500 with signature required from Pa to TX and it only cost $86. I did it online in my UPS account and dropped it off at the local hub.

I'd pay over $100 from Dallas to PA.
Pricing depends on where you're at.
Metroplex shipping prices are insane now. I used to be able to ship a 2x12 Marshall combo for less than $100, insured.

You have to watch. The first price was 336. Then I sifted through options to find that was their recommendation which was like 2 day shipping. I had to manually select UPS ground which was 4 days and it went down to 86. Also if your using a shipping store like Staples or the UPS store you will get bent over hard with no lube. Make yourself an online account, print your label and drop it off yourself
