If you already discussed what you are having done and what the approximate costs are, and he confirmed you can ship it to him, I would go ahead and ship it. Do him a favor and get delivery confirmation on the shipping.
Dave is very busy and communication is not always as good as it could but he is genuinely a good guy to deal with and you will be amazed at the amp when you get it back. If I had the $$$ I would not hesitate to buy an amp from him or have another modded.
when i sent mine in, i called first to ask about the mods and that it was ok to send, and then sent it along with a list of what i wanted done and contact info.
and i think he told me he only requires payment when the amp is done
spoke to him the other day and there are several more amps before mine apparently, but i don't doubt it'll be worth the wait
You can just send it with a sheet of paper with all the contact info and what you need done. Be patient the more amps I get the longer it takes to get them out. I have a Lot!!! of amps to do.
