First time SCOTUS has allowed State Law to supersde Congressional Law.
I dont care either way but it seems the court has a big contridiction.

probably because of dereliction of Constitutional duty of the Federal government.

Article IV, Section 4:

The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence.

I had that backwards. These legal eggheads are making this legal theory complicated.

That's what you get for reading your own CONSTITUTION..................That is the one thing that is a responsibility of the Federal government.
