Thanks a lot dude. It's 2 channel, shared EQ. It's lighter than the Ecstasy, that's for sure, but it's still got a good weight to it. I actually have no idea though, can you tell?

Thanks man. It's more aggressive than the IV, but also thicker. It's also, somehow, got an overall smoother yet more organic character. At this stage I would say yes, it does beat the IV, but I guess I am absolutely 100% in the honeymoon period. Ask me again in 3 months. I didn't really ever buy into or even look into the hype of the IIC+ as I never thought I would own one, so thought it to be futile. They do seem to be the real deal however.

I do need to retube it though, which I'll be doing this week. Expect more videos then.

As far as I can tell from a Youtube video, it sounds really nice. It's got a really nice voice to it... sounds great when doing fluid legato runs and simple leads.

Thats exactly how I hear it too. I'm fairly shocked more people can't perceive this difference when comparing them.

I've owned 2 IIC+'2 and compared them both (side by side) to my MKIV. The IV was smoother and thicker...while the IIC+ was more aggressive and in your face. Daneyo's old IIC+ was the same way as well.

I'll prob. sell the F-50 early next year and get a Mark IV. The Einstein, Mark IV and my duesentrieb Little joe...NOW THAT'LL ROCK!
