I am awaiting a modded Randall RM100 and 4x12 speaker cabnit from Dave. With Brown Eye, Hairy Brown Eye and Blackface modules! It's been a while since I've had a real amp and I am anxiously awaiting it's arriveal. When we spoke last week Dave said it would be ready for delivery in a day or two! Should be any day now and I cant wait to plug in. Anticipation..... life is good... thanks Dave for all your help and... please let me know!!!

I've no doubt. Dave has been great to deal with!

The clocks in my house and office seem to tick a little louder as I wait... Kind of like the train station scene from The Untouchables. Except instead of getting shot at... I am anticipating massive tone!

That rig will sound great.

I am awaiting my BE/C45 module from repair by Dave (has a broken pot). The BE is just fantastic. Feels different than the other modules, too. Hope I hear from Dave soon, too! :thumbsup:

I'ts been nearly 5 years since I've had a tube amp. I've lost a good bit of gear in hurricane Katrina in 2005 (12 feet of water in my house does that) and am slowly replacing my stuff. Right now I am using a Line 6 pod XT live through studio monitors just to have something to play through. This is a big upgrade that I took my time with in making my decisions. I'm sure I asked a bunch of bonehead questions here and on other forums along the way but I just want to make sure I buy right the first time. I'm glad to see you guys are happy with your amps. I have full faith in Dave. I've heard nothing but great things. Can't wait to get started! Thaks for empathising! I'm sure relief is on the way soon!!!!

I have a RM4 setup w/ Brown Eye, Hairy Brown Eye (plus a few others ,lol)

took several months but I finally got my modules from Dave

I still have and use them all time and when I'm not I'm busy
selling all my overpriced overhyped big heavy freaking tube
heads :doh:

Thanx to Dave & Randall I no longer need nor miss them (and I had some real nice ones too !)

I'm not worried.
Just anxious.

I am a realist. I know that I do not sit on the upper rung of the job list hierarchy. When EVH, Slash, George Lynch, Peter Thorn ect. call... I'm sure their jobs take priority (and rightfully so). I've no issue with that whatsoever. I don't want to be a pain in the rear. I'm buying a custom piece of gear. The last thing I want is for it to be done quickly just so that he can "get me out of his hair". What I wanted was something cool that you cant buy off of the shelf. I'm cool with waiting for a quality product.

Of course the other half on my split personality is anxiously awaiting the amp. I bought a G-system and a EVH phase 90 that are patiently waiting in their boxes... ready to join their mate. They are very lonely right now.

I have something coming up in about a month and hope that I can have everything up and running and dialed in by then so I can showcase the amp. If not.... I'll live. Quality is most important to me.

Dave sound slike he needs to get some help in that shop of his! I was considering sending my SL+ out to be modded to HBE specs but I just now read that some people have waited several months for even just modules to be worked on. That's a long wait! (obviously worth it though, I'm just pointing out the obvious)

2-3 months for and amp mod isn't unheard of.
 
That's true.. but modules.. I'd imagine more of those are coming in for modding as well as the Jet City stuff so I'd imagine his plate is pretty full.

just a note... I am having the transformer changed as well... not just the modules... just to keep things in perspective. 3 modules and a transformer upgrade.

I didn't want you guys to think that my job order was just a single module.
 
I just took delivery yesterday!

I didn't have a ton of time to dig in yet but... the Brown Eye is AWESOME!!! :rock:

Dave has been great to work with. :thumbsup: I'm very excited and cant wait to dig in some more. Unfortunately... I cant play it tonight. I'm going straight from work to see Lynch Mob.
