It seems like this guitar would fit ALL my needs....plus, I love the pickups :)

Easy fret access for soloing and should be chunky enough sounding for Rhythms :)
24.75" Maple Neck
Mahagony Body w/Quilt Maple Veneer
Original Floyd Rose
Seymour Duncan Custom Custom/'59 Pickups w/coiltap
24 Fret Ebony Fretboard

What do you guys think?

yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes...........yes, i just bought my second schecter, but of course i bought i nicer one :D they are awesome guitars for the money

got a schecter blackjack FR and a hellraiser 30th anniversary, apparently only 300 made

Really nice looking gutiar, looks exactly like my LTD MH400 actually, the Schecters seem pretty much exactly the same as the MH series actually, other than the 24.75" scale.
OFR - :)
If you're happy with the pickups, that's essentially $150 to add onto it's value if you'd consider swapping out the stock pickups.
I'd prefer a 25.5" scale, but that's personal preference.

If it sounds good and feels good, and the price is right, then you should buy this guitar.

it is a good looking guitar. the schecters do play nice, and look nice as well. i say go for it ...

I think I'm gonna play on a few guitars at Sam Ash/Guitar Center this week/weekend before I make my final decision (I sound like Regis)

It was in one of my emails I got today, send me your email, I'll forward it.

Just read the details, it was a newsletter/email coupon only, you can probably just print it and bring it in store. Also here are the exceptions, looks like schecter isn't listed.

So, do you guys think guitar will sound a bit Beefier than the Ibanez JS1000? I'm kinda stuck between the Ibanez JS1000 and this axe.

I've owned the JS1000 and the rhythm tones weren't very chunky at all but, I had stock pups in it. Lead tones were ungodly though.

If the Schecter can sound as sweet soloing on the neck pickup as the JS1000 that'd be awesome. Also, I'm sure the JS1000 plays better.

hmmm, does sam ash carry schecter? I just checked dealer list and Sam Ash isn't listed.

I love it, but hate the knob placement.!!!

Yep. I could never buy that guitar. Who the fuck would put a volume knob so close to the pickup that you'll hit it and can't anchor your pinky?

PHALE
