Should I try a set of 2nd Degree Blackbelts?

Just looking to try something different in my Les Paul Custom. I have the WCR Godwood/Darkburst set in there now.
Looking to get LPC tones from Billy Duffy to Jerry Cantrell. This particular guitar is a tiny bit on the bright side.
Should I leave it alone, or try some Motor City 2nd Degree BB's?

I've had both. I would leave it alone as the BB's will not be that much different.

Thanks! I figured they'd be on par with eachother...with the WCR's being a bit fatter, and the 2nd Degree BB's being a bit more aggressive maybe?

Not familiar with the pickups you have, but I'm a huge fan of the 2nd Degree Blackbelt, they are so great and articulate! (mine is in an a 70's jap LP) But the most different thing I've ever experienced are the Blackbelts, Wade made me a custom set that are out of phase, they are super raw and in a way hard to play because they are so clear and crisp, but it makes my LP sound spot like those late 60's guitars, crazy rich harmonics that sing!
