Shout out to Shipnerd for good shipping rates

I'm sending out one of my amps for revision updates. I've used PirateShip several times before and they always had good rates. For some reason the site was having issues authorizing payment. Since others here have recommended them, I decided to try Shipnerd for the first time. It was a nice surprise to see they had better shipping rates than PirateShip. Price between the two were fairly comparable, but sometimes every bit of savings helps.

Shipping a big heavy box with $2700 of insurance:
PirateShip - $72
Shipnerd - $64

For comparison UPS Store would have charged right at $140

So yeah, shout out to Shipnerd and PirateShip for saving us a good chunk of change on shipping.

Pretty much any UPS Store or public UPS drop off location.

They are both great; and thankfully the prices are about where they used to be pre Covid. Maybe even less. I used to go to the UPS Hub and ship, vs the UPS store that was 40% above the hub price wise. Last time I did, prior to using Pirate Ship I paid 175 to ship an amp. First time with Pirate Ship, same size amp to the west coast was 55$. Huge savings.
