Flame maple body (not just cap) and the best neck I've ever played. It's an incredible guitar that I've had for decades now! Actually had the other two about as long, now that I think about it.

That's great man, looks fantastic for its age, was it a factory floyd or a later addition?

Later. Came with a vintage trem. It's a really nice installation, so maybe we sent back to Charvel, or at least a solid luthier for it.

Ah right, looks really good from the photo, i've seen a few that look like they have been butchered in the process!

Incredibly nice, my favourite color on any guitar is red, one pickup makes it perfect!

I only have a couple, I've had a few others over the years, but more Jackson's than charvels. The green one, im not even sure of the model, and the pink fusion.

Down to these 2…..1986 Jackson strat, and my fav pro mod, a 2009 USA Candy Plum. The 86 is identical to the 2 other 85 Charvels I had; dates to October of 86 from the neck pocket.
