i had the og CE-1 and loved it feeding into a memoryman deluxe, but it clipped back in the day and eventually drove me to get rid of it.

Have two since the chips were running out I found and purchased a second one. Best of the CE-1 sounds for me plus great Vibrato too. I don't think they are still available. There was some talk of him ustilizing another chip and trying to make that work. Only complaint I it doesn't have a ton of headroom much like the original so I can't run it in the loop.

ah yes the tinkerer's layout
it's the conundrum of pro wired pedalboards--eventually you wanna try something else and it might be a different size, jack layout, power---

there should almost be a prerequisite "test loop" where you can easily patch a new pedal into those surgical boards, anywhere in the chain

Yes Brother, still rocking it....just playing around with various dirt box cameos, but still keep going back to the liquid goo. Swapped out the two 6L6s for EL34s. So now have the EL34s as switchable in Class A mode. Pretty Cool for greasier lower gain warmth.

What about you? are you still Mojave or Egnater..... or what?

I actually got this done a few months back. I had Dave build me this one off board to use with my Friedman BE100 half stack. I have had several very custom boards before but I think this may be the best sounding one.

All Strymon gear with a Klon KTR Overdrive and a Suhr Riot Reloaded Distortion. Wah is a CAE Bradshaw. Wired to run 4 cable with the time based fx in the loop and and the wah, Riot & KTR in front.

Sounds amazing. Board is a powder coated FIX Pedalboard.
